What is the meaning of security?
Hey, pal! What do you understand with the word “SECURITY“?
Do you refer to it as the process of preventing the massacre from happening worldwide? Or securing masses from banditry, kidnapping, Armed Robbery, and insurgency happening across the world?

If yes! You’re 100% right, but this is not the kind of security that we want to talk about.
The word ‘SECURITY‘ it has umpteen meanings so it can be explained in many ways. But the best and most acceptable definition of security is:
Security is defined as the quality or state of being safe or secured; from danger, fear, anxiety, the prospect of being harmed. etc.
The above definition defined the term of ‘security’, it has defined the general meaning of security. Thus, let’s relate the above definition with a computer. The safety of securing a computer from being harmed by attackers.

When we say
“COMPUTER SECURITY”, some people may start thinking of the password or secret pin that is used to lock up computers or mobile devices, as the term “COMPUTER SECURITY”.
Hhhh, very funny. You’ve got it wrong, buddy! We are not talking about that kind of security, buddy.
What is a Computer Security?
A computer security is also called Cyber Security, or information technology security, is the protection of computer systems and networks from information disclosure, theft of, or damage to their hardware, software, or electronic data, as well as from the disruption or misdirection of the services they provide.
A Computer Security can also be defined as: The practice of defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attacks. It’s also known as an “Electronic Information Security”.
Cyber Security can genuinely be defined as: The precautions taken to guard computers, servers, mobile devices, etc. Against crimes that involve the internet, especially unauthorized access to computer systems and data connected to the internet. the state of being protected against such crimes is called “Cyber Security” or “Computer Security”.
Computer Security is one of the most in demand skills in demand in the world. It is required in most of the Industries, Commercial Banks, and Hedge Fund Banks, Governments or any community that is on a digital system. If you have a computer or mobile device, so you definitely need ‘Cyber Security’ for your own computers, mobile devices safety. It’s because malicious people are out there waiting for vulnerability that will allow them to access your computer.
Cyber Security is very bulky, that is why it takes one up to three (3) years before they learn and master it.

There are many types of Cyber Security, but now let’s discuss the five (5) of them.
1. Application Security:
the process of developing, adding, and testing security features within applications to prevent security vulnerabilities against threats such as unauthorized access and modification.
2. Information Security:

3. Network Security:
Any action, an organization takes to prevent malicious use or accidental damage to the network’s private data, its users, or their devices.
4. Endpoint Security:
the process of protecting devices like desktops, laptops, mobile
mobile phones, and tablets from malicious threats and cyber attacks.
5. Internet Security:
is a term that describes security for activities and transactions made over the internet. To prevent hackers and cyber-thieves from accessing sensitive information.
These are the some major types of Cyber Security. Each and every one of them is important. Without them! Hehee, trust me, those bad guys, they wouldn’t let you keep even 1kb in your bank account, they will penetrate, hijack and do whatever they want to. Once they get access to your computers, mobile devices, software, etc. I feel so sorry for you, buddy! But, they will be unstoppable, unless you’re like them. And the scariest thing about them is, they are ANNONYMOUS!!!. You can’t see them but they can obviously see you. You can’t find them, but they’ll find you, for you to track or find them is like, to find a black ant on black soil at the mid night, in a very dark place. That sounds impossible, right? If you can find them, so you can find that ant we gave an example with. They could be only detected, found and tracked by hackers like them. Hmm, so scary? Hhh, don’t worry buddy, in our next topic you learn how to get rid of them as well as their malicious acts.

The core functions of Cyber Security is to identify, protect, detect, respond, recover and aid organizations in their effort to spot, manage and counter cyber security events in a timely manner.
What is the purpose of Cyber Security??
The reasons behind Cyber Security is to protect all organizational assets from external and internal threats as well as disruptions caused due to natural disasters.

1. A computer security is important because it keeps your information protected.
2. It’s also important for your computer’s, phone’s overall health.
3. A computer security is important because it guarantees to safe processing and storage of business data, healthcare and sensitive information, etc.
How to become a Cyber Security Analyst?
1. Degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a similar field.
2. Two years of work experience in cyber security-related duties such as incident detection and response, and forensics.
3. Experience with the functionality, operation, and maintenance of firewalls and various forms of endpoint security.
4. Proficiency in languages/tools such as C++, Java, Node, Python, Ruby, Go, or Power Shell, etc.
5. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure possess the right eye for detail and outstanding problem-solving skills.
6. Up to date knowledge of the latest cyber rsecurity trends and hacker tactics, etc.
Note: please note that the different organizations may have more or fewer qualifications or attach lesser or greater importance to any of the given criteria.

The minimum salary for a Cyber Security expert Analyst is $80,078 In United States, which is equivalent to #50,000,000, wow! A lot of money. So, this is the minimum salary for a Cyber Security analyst.
